I scored on hand dyed wool at a garage sale recently so I decided to felt a Toucan-ish bird on the back of a jeans jacket. I enlarged a pattern from a stained glass window book and traced it onto solvy. I pinned the Solvy to the back of the jacket and punched away. I used black yarn to outline the separate sections. It was a good project for my long drive to Los Angeles....but it really didn't take much time at all. When I was finished the Solvy tore away easily. I didn't even have to use water to make it disolve.
