Wild Thing and Moderation

I couldn't reist this photo of my aunt as a child. The big bow seems to overwhelm her which is
why the quote: Note to self: Everything in Moderation seemed perfect. I transfered the photo to fabric and mounted it on thick paper and then on more fabric. The lace was hand made by her mother and handed down to me.





Wild Thing was begun in the summer when I was playing with hand dyed fabrics and fusing. I was in the mood to do some free hand quilting so the project was finished at last.
